The New Media Journalists (NMJ) has urged newly appointed League Management Company (LMC) director, Mr. Emmanuel Adeyemi, to work very hard to justify his appointment as a director.
In a release by the group, signed by the Coordinator, Alonge Akinlolu, NMJ asked Adeyemi to bring to bear the knowledge acquired since his days in sports.
NMJ recalled that Adeyemi who was recently appointed Director of Football of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Football Club was part of Team Nigeria’s preparations for the last All African Games in Congo Brazzaville.
“I have been privileged to meet with Mr. Adeyemi and I can see that he has the zeal to work,” Akinlolu said.
“People might be looking at him as a new person in Nigeria football, but I can tell whosoever care to listen that he is a man of great knowledge.
"The NMJ wish to congratulate him and affirmed their support for him and other directors.
“He has a big task ahead of him to take MFM FC to greater height and we believe he has the wherewithal to achieve greatness with the club.”
Meanwhile, the director of Football expressed his excitements to NMJ, as he promised to give it his all.
He also assured of his team’s readiness to take the league by storm ahead of the new season.
“I feel elated with my appointment as a director of LMC,” he said.
“I believe it will afford me the opportunity of contributing positively towards the development of the game of football and to get more youths off the streets.
“For MFM FC, we are prepared for the new season. We are really working hard to ensure that we have a good outing in the forth coming season.
“The technical crew and the management are doing all we can to ensure that we make not just our fans, but all sport loving Lagosians proud.”
