The Falconets continued their build up ahead of the FIFA U-20 World cup during the weekend as they defeated Abees Academy of Abuja in a two series friendly at an aggregate of 9 goals to 4 with both games played at the FIFA Goal project pitch  Package B of Abuja National Stadium.

The matches are aimed at preparing the team for the FIFA U-20 women's world cup which comes up from 5-24th August 2014 in Canada.

The Falconets had earlier won the
first game  by 5 goals to 1 with goals from Oshoala Asisat, Sunday Uchechi and Eyebhoria Winifred  having a goal each while Ihezou Chinwendu grabbed a brace.

Their opponent fought hard in an attempt to get back to the game and where rewarded with 1 goal before the end of proceedings.

In the second game, the  Falconets came out victorious thrashing the Abees boys 4 goals to 3.

The young boys played their best but the Falconets showed more experienced.

Coach Peter Dedevbo  said such friendlies gives him the opportunity to study the team more critically in order to make corrections ahead of the up coming world cup.

"With just days to the world cup, i am intensifying preparations to ensure the team do well at the fiesta. The friendly has giving me the chance to experiment with team selection and tactics", said Dedevbo.

This is the third time the two teams have lock horns, and on all occasions the Falconets have triumphed.
