LTV Emerge SWAN Vita Glucose D 2014 Tug-Of-War Champions

Lagos Television has emerged as winner of the maiden edition of the SWAN Vita Glucose D Tug of War tournament.

Team LTV defeated hard fighting Team Super Sports in the final by 2-0 to cart home overall trophy and a cash prize of N30,000.

Team Super Sports for coming second went home with

a trophy and cash prize of N20,000.

Earlier before the final, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) had defeated newfanzone.com 2-1 to win the third place match.

Team NAN went home with a trophy and N10,000 while Team newfanzone.comwon the Best Behaved Team Award and a cash prize of N5,000. A total of 12 teams participated in the tournament which started on Thursday and ended on Friday with the final ceremony.

CEO of Vital Health Limited, Mohammed Ashrat while commending the participating teams, said this is the beginning of a lasting relationship with SWAN. We are going to improve of this and come out better and stronger in the next edition”, he said.

Chairman of Lagos SWAN, Fred Edoreh thanked the sponsors and members of SWAN for the success of the tournament.

“We thank our sponsors for this successful event and it is our hope and prayer that next edition will be better”, he said.
