FC Ebedei of Sagamu showed its strength by claiming the Gold World Cup Break Tournament as they defeated Remo Stars 1-0 at the final match of the One-Week tournament.
The Oliseh Boys went undefeated at the invitational tournament played at the Otunba Dipo Dina International Stadium, Ijebu Ode.
FC Ebedei won
three matches, drew one and conceded a goal with 10 points from 4 matches.
Supreme Court FC of Abuja, finished 2nd with 8 points, Remo Stars with 7 points, Juvenile FC with 4 points, while AFCON FC ended the competition with a point.
However, the tournament coordinator, Tunde Shamsudeen, expressed delight with the level of soccer artistry displayed by all the teams.
He stated further that the tournament was meant to prepare teams ahead of the league which will resume next weekend.
