The team topped Group C with 7 points and will take on New Zealand which came second in Group D.

The Falconets left Edmonton yesterday at about 11.30 am, flew through Montreal and arrived  Moncton at 21.15pm.

The team had a training session this morning at the
    Harrison Trimple High School pitch.

All the players are in good health and Osarenoma Igbinovia who was absent in the match against England due to injury, join the team in trainning.

This is the first time New Zealand has qualified for the knock out stage. The team defeated Costa Rica 3-0 to pick the quarter finals kicket.

Head coach, Peter Dedevbo says he needs to re-organise the defence.

" We have to make correction. We had a problem during our last match as one of our lead defender had to be moved to play midfield because Osarenoma was absent but thank God she is back".

He said with the character and spirit exhibited by the girls the match against New zealand will be taken seriously.
