Super Eagles forward and Chelsea loanee to Stoke City, Victor Moses will have an opportunity to debut for Stoke City in a Capital One Cup second-round tie match against Kanu Nwankwo's former club, Portsmouth tonight at the Britannia stadium.
Stoke manager, Mark Hughes is expected to parade more of a
second string team in the league cup but he has made a promise for top performers in the match tonight to get a starting shirt in a Premier League tough tie against Manchester City on Saturday.
"We will make changes," vowed Hughes, "but it's a competition we do want to be strong in and make progress in, so whoever I pick it will be a strong team," Hughes told Stokesentinel.
Nigeria international, Victor Moses according to Hughes has had a week's training and noted that it will be a big risk to feature him against Hull.
"He's had a week's training, but with only 13 minutes of football he would have been put at risk against Hull,"
"We could have taken him to Hull and given him some work on the pitch, but we wanted to give him some conditioning back home instead. He is very much in my mind for the Portsmouth game." Hughes declared.
