Midfielder turned striker, Oto John has hit a double in Kosovo’s Vala Superliga, he emerged the highest goals scorer and with three matches to go this term, his club, Trepca '89 has emerge 2016/17 champions.
Currently on 24 goals after 30 matches, the highest ever in the Vala Superliga, Oto who joined the Mitrovica base club on loan from Albanian club, KF Skënderbeu in 2016 has stated that being the highest scorer in Kosovo means a lot to him.
"It's a huge achievement for me and I must thank my team mates, the coaches and everyone at the club for helping me achieve this,' Oto told Footyalert
" It means a lot to me because as a striker your main objective is to score goals.
"Breaking into the team was challenging for me but with hard work and commitment I over came it. When the opportunity came I took it and today I'm glad I've set a record.
"I want to give credit to my team mates for believing in me and in this three games left this season I hope to score more goals. I don't know how many goals it'll be but I'm optimistic that I'll score more goals," Oto concludes.
