The Nigerian, Apam, was part of the Flying Eagles squad that Samson Siasia took to the 2005 FIFA U/20 World Cup and the U/23 team (Dream Team) that played at the
summer Olympics in 2008 where he won silver in both tournament.

Apam who also played for French Ligue clubs, Rennes and Nice is a center-back, but he can as well play in every position on the defensive side of the football. He could serve as a cover in any position in the back line should there be injury crisis at the club.

Apam started his youth career with Pepsi Academy then moved to Nigeria Premier League side, Enugu Rangers before he left for France to join Nice in 2006. He hasn't been lucky with injuries while at Rennes and that made him appear just 23 times in three seasons.
