  • LMC Hammer Nembe City, To Pay 500K Fine.

    Bayelsa State base Nembe City who play their home games at the Krisdera Hotel Stadium, Omoku have been banished to Benin by the League Management Company (LMC).

    The Kala Ekulema Boys walked out of the pitch on match day 27 against Lobi Stars of Markurdi, a match the Nembe City was leading by two goals to one. The visitors, LobinStars were awarded a penalty at the later stage of the match but the visitors chose to walk out of the pitch protesting the referee's call.

    The LMC announced via its
    Twitter account that Nembe City will have to pay a fine of N500,000 and play its next three home games at the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium. 

    The tweet reads: "@LMCNPFL Nembe City have been banished to Benin City for their next 3 home games following an infraction in the inconclusive Match Day 27 game versus Lobi Stars at the Krisdera Hotel Stadium, Omoku. Nembe have also been fine N500,000,"
