    The Amaju Pinnick NFF board have finally shown Stephen Keshi and his technical crew the exit door.

    The Big Boss Stephen Keshi has struggled with the Super Eagles lately having recorded poor result in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier lossing at home to Congo,a draw in South Africa another loss in Sudan and a win against Sudan in. Nigeria. Though Nigeria has a slim chance to still qualify for the AFCON 'Morocco 2015' but the NFF has decided to part with Keshi. 

    In the early hours of Thursday, the NFF announced the
    contract termination of coach Stephen Keshi as the Super Eagles head coach.

    The NFF executive board went straight into a meeting after the Eagles 3:1 win against Sudan in Abuja on Wednesday 

    After a long hours of meeting, the executive board members held a meeting held at the Transcrop hilton hotel in Abuja the board unanimously agreed to part aways with the Stephen Keshi and his technical crew.

    The first Vice President of the NFF, Barr. Seyi Akinwunmi announced to news men early Thursday that the NFF appreciated coach Stephen Keshi and will give him and his technical crew the necessary support.

    "As we all know, Keshi and his technical crew's contract expired after the World cup, and the NFF have decided not to renew their contract.

    "The Federation appreciated his effort for the success he has achieved impact on development of our football.

    "We have decided to sponsor him and his technical crew (Daniel Amokachi and Ike Shoromu) to any choice of their coaching school to acquire more knowledge in the game at our expense," Akinwunmi said.

    Shuaibu Amodu has returned to the Eagles as the head coach on an interim basis, he would be assisted by three Nigeria Professional Football League club coaches.

    Nigeria has two important matches against Congo and South Africa and y thing short of victory will throw Nigeria out of the competition they won in 2013. 

    Coach Shuaibu Amodu will now take over as the head coach while sharks FC of Porthacourt coach, Gbenga Ogunbote and El-Kanemi Warriors coach Salisu Yusuf  will be the assistant coach. Former Eagles goal keeper, Alloy Agu will be the goal keeper trainer.
