    A- A+

I was at the Agege stadium a couple of months back when I heard a young boy (I think he should be 15-17yrs old) asked his dad- "daddy will Enyimba come to play here in Agege ?"

    His dad replied
-No, Enyimba won't come to Lagos to play a competitive match because there's no Lagos team playing where Enyimba is playing.

It's been a while Lagos fans saw top flight club football action and it might take another year if that will ever happen. Well, for the past two years now Lagos has seen the finals of the Federations Cup with Heartland FC lifting the trophy. Currently COD Utd and MFM FC are flying the flag of Lagos in the Nigeria National League (NNL) telling everyone that cares to listen "Eko Oni baye Oooo" and both teams are still active in the Federations Cup after recording victories in Akure and Ekiti respectively (COD 2:1 FC Lokoja, MFM 2:0 Court of Apeal)

Though MFM and COD Utd might be focused on maintaining their status in the NNL but they will sure give the Federations Cup a run and hope that they will scale through each challenge
