Remo Stars defender, Osas Okunaghae has described Sunday’s encounter against Akwa Starlet as a game they have to win in other to keep their hopes of qualification alive.

The Sky Blue Stars welcome Uyo based side Akwa Starlet at Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode on Sunday in a week 27 fixture in
    the Nigeria National League (NNL).

The Stars are currently 3rd on the log with 37 points, a point behind leaders Crown FC and Abia Warriors, a victory will see them acquire 40points which could see them overtake any of the teams depending on any of the team dropping points in their respective games.

“We just have to win the game, dropping any points is a disaster. We have our aims and ambition for this season and they are intact, we want to play in the elite division next season and every game now
matters and shouldn’t be taken for granted, this game is no exception.

“Looking at the log we still have a great chance of qualifing, it's just a point difference but we are currently lacking behind in goal difference and we have to score more goals and concede less.

“This is an encounter we have to stamp our authority and show the world that we are not done yet. We’ve got quality and team spirit in this team; we believe in ourselves that we can achieve something
    great this season.”

The Sky Blue Stars were defeated by a goal  in the corresponding fixture in Uyo but were 3-1 winners over Fountain FC the last time out at the Dipo Dina Stadium.
