Club unveils New Logo, New Structure, To Appoint New Head Coach Next Week
The new management of National League Side Abubakar Bukola Saraki Ilorin Football Club under the leadership of Mr Seni Saraki have unvelled it's plans to restructure the former Nigeria Premier League giant killers, to make it conform professionally in line with world class football club management standard and international best practices .
In what it termed ' A New Dawn' for football in Kwara and Nigeria, the chairman of the Club Mr Seni Saraki in a statement on Friday announced a new management structure for the Saraki owned club and unveiled a new logo to demonstrate the new face of the Ilorin based professional side.
Under the new arrangement, the Club is now to be known as ABS Ilorin Football club, with the general manager Alloy Chukwuemeka as the Director of Football, while Mr Bidemi Bamgboye is the new technical director.
Mr Seni Saraki who is the youngest chairman of a Professional football clubside in the whole World, said the management had taken the last six months to critically analyze the back room and playing staff and have proceeded to make mass changes with the appointment of a new head coach to be named next week.
"It is a new dawn for football in Kwara, and football in Nigeria. This club will be at the heart of the community and a vehicle of hope for all youths in Kwara and beyond" - Saraki Said
Meanwhile the Club is set to resume next week ahead of the new season as preparation and general screening and camping is to commence under a new technical team.
