Both teams have qualified for the semi-finals of the tournament in Ijebu-ode after pulling 6points each from two matches.

Coach Mohammed Baba Ganaru, stated thus after his team's 1-0 victory against Giwa FC of Jos on Saturday.

"It was a good game, both teams put in their best. I want to confirm to you that we are very much on course for the new NPL season as my players, old and new are beginning to understand themselves and play to my football philosophy."

On his last Group A game against Supreme Court, who has also qualified for the semi-finals of the Gold Cup, Baba Ganaru stated that: "I'm not going to use a second string players because I don't have one. In my first game against FC Ebedei and the second against Giwa FC, we made use of different set of players, so I could line any starting 11 against Supreme Court."

As regards the play standard from all the participating teams, "I'm quite impressed as the non NPL teams have performed well. FC Ebedei and Supreme Court that Pillars will be playing against in the final Group A game have not done badly."

"They are very agile and engertic as they didn't play the big teams with much respect."

Both team battle for who go top of the group today (Monday) at the Otunba Dipo Dina International Stadium in Ijebu-Ode.
