Still basking in the Euphoria of last week's sweet victory over Heartland of Owerri, Crown Football Club of Ogbomoso is upbeat again as Dolphins of Port Harcourt pays a visit to Ibadan on Sunday this weekend. Crown football Club's General Manager Fatai Olayinka who was before now on the administrative team of Dolphins of Porthacourt said his team is battle-ready for his former team that the three points at stake is a no-go- area- for his former employer.
It will definitely be a revenge mission for
Crown; the last time both teams met during the Ajilete Boys debut campaign in the elite division, the Pride of Rivers State "Dolphins FC" picked the maximum point in both legs.
The Ajilete boys lost the league opener by the whisker having conceded a controversial goal in die minutes in far away katsina-ala against Lobi Stars ,but took heartland pound of flesh in the week two by a lone goal strike courtesy of Ikechukwu jekwu Frank. Therefore Crown FC goes again into the game with full concentration and determination against the 'big-boys' of Port Harcourt.
The club's handler Lawrence Akpokona said he's playing the game one at a time and not ready to change his approach this time as well, saying that having fully aware of the status and strength of his former team they are not going to be undermined or underrated in the game but be given a full dose of the venom administered on our last prey from Owerri.
The boys are already eager and set for this cracker as confirmed by the mood in camp since Thursday morning training session. The club's attacking-midfield maestro and former Benin Republic International Femi Ajayi said the game is going to be an improvement on the former games that the boys have the composure and the character to achieve the dreams and desires of the financiers and fans. Ajayi concluded.
