Mohammed Buhari Choky and Mohammed Ali Uni of Yobe Deset Stars FC have been suspended indefinitely from all league matches and venues for unsporting attitude.
According to a statement signed by the Nigeria Nationwide League (NNWL) executive secretary, Olushola Ogunnowo, the secretariat received the official match report of
the match between Gombe Warriors and Yobe Desert Stars played on Thursday the 6th of March 2014 in Gombe where the act of unsporting attitude was noticed among Yobe Desert Stars FC players.
It was stated in the match report that the referee was attacked after the final whistle and in a swift reaction by the NNWL to such unwanted acts, as an interim measure the league board have decided before the NFF disciplinary committee takes a final decision on the incident to suspend both Mohammed Buhari Choky andMohammed Ali Uni of Yobe Desert Stars FC indefinitely from all league matches and venues.
