  • Metro Pro League: Bolowotan FC And 36 Lion Renew Rivalry

    The age-long rivalry between Bolowotan Football Club of Ikorodu and their 36 LIon counterparts will be renewed at Strong Tower Pitch, Ikorodu in the Week 3 of the Metro Pro League on Wednesday.

    Bolowotan will go into this
    encounter with much confidence after picking a one-all draw against Collins Edwin Sports Club and also thrashing Nath Boys by 2-0 at home.

    On the contrary, 36 Lion FC are desperate to pick their first win of the season after losing on the opening day to Bridge FC and Nath Boys.

    In other fixtures on Wednesday, Nath Boys will entertain Union Bank FC at the Legacy Pitch, National Stadium, Surulere.

    On Thursday, Yobo FC will ambush high-flying Apapa Golden Stars at Agege Stadium, just as Collins Edwin Sports Club tackles Remo Stars of Sagamu at the Legacy Pitch, Surulere. All matches will kick off at 4pm.

    Metro Pro League Chief Executive Officer, Victor Akinyooye enjoined the state's football fans to troupe out en masse to watch highly entertaining football games and cheer their darling teams.
