The come back of SSFC to league football in Nigeria has brought a new dimension of followership to league football in Nigeria. The crowd Stationery Stores FC com ands at their home ground, Onikan stadium is very encouraging while all the venues they've visited so far in the six weeks old Nigeria National League(second level league) has also given the home team a reason to
smile because they made record amount on gate takings.

He was the first coach at Bolowotan FC of Ikorodu, he also managed Grays Int'l and Olaoluwa FC both from Osun state and Afijo FC from Ilora, Oyo state. The ex-captain of SSFC won an FA Cup and helped the club reach the semi-final of the CAF Champions League
Oloyede in a chat with Footyalert at the Onikan stadium, the home ground of SSFC said it would have been nice if the LMC gave the private owned clubs in the NPL more time to meet up with necessary demands.
"It's important to note that private owned clubs are meant to be encouraged; throwing these clubs (Nembe and Giwa) out of the league is a tough blow,"said Oloyede.
The ex-Stores player insisted that SSFC will not be found wanting when the darlin team of Lagos finally gain promotion to the Nigeria Premier League because some structures are already in place to fund the activities of the club.
"The come back of Stores means so much to everyone, some source of income for the club has already been established while more are been worked on. One of the most important aspect of the game is the fans, did you see the attendance during our games? He asked. Without the fans a club might find it very tough to survive and that is one of our strong point. No doubt the target of SSFC is to gain promotion and when we get there we shall be a private club to emulate," Oloyede concluded.
