Eti Osa East FC started the 2013/2014 Season in an enviable fashion but a string of losses ushered them into the new year perishing all hope of a top table finish. Oshodi hasn’t fared better but have never really shown desire of great aspirations. As both teams go face to face at the Alade Stadium on Saturday afternoon the only thing on both their minds will be not slipping into the bottom third of the table.
Due to the professional Leagues taking place at the
Onikan Stadium all LJL matches have been moved from Onikan stadium.
This weekend’s crunch tie is the match between fifth placed Agege Giants and league leaders Apapa Golden Stars at the prestigious Agege stadium by midday on Saturday. Agege Giants have struggled in recent weeks but an opportunity to derail the table topper will be one they will relish. Apapa Golden Stars have been almost perfect all season and a win against Agege will be a statement of intent to other title contenders.
