Speaking from Mecca on the spiritual journey, Dan Fulani, as he is fondly called said he is personally praying for peace and prosperity for Nigeria, and for Shooting Stars to end the season on a reasonable position on the NPFL table.

He said: “As you well know, Mecca is the holiest city in Islam and the Kaaba is the holiest Mosque and also the Mosque of the Prophet in Medina.

“The visit to Mecca and Medina is actually a personal spiritual journey to pray for peace in Nigeria and for my team to end up well on the table log. We're in a precarious position on the log and I am sure my prayers will assist us to end the season well and avoid relegation," the former Enyimba and Sunshine Stars North Coordinator said.
