Niger Tornadoes has confirmed that they won’t be missing the services of their former coach, Abdullahi Biffo, who resigned at their end of the first stanza of the league under a controversial manner.
According to the newly appointed team manager, Usman Alfa, in an interactive session with journalists before the match day 32 games against Ikorodu united at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta on Sunday.
He stated: “We won’t be missing Abdullahi Biffo. He was in charge and we never get an away point. With Biffo, we never won a match with a three goal margin but we did that in our last home match. The man in charge now (Bala Abubakar ) was his assistants , so there is nothing to miss about his exit .
The former Giwa and Kogi united coach, who inspired Giwa FC to the premier league in 2012/13 was saddled with the task of bringing the Niger based club back to the premier league in 2014 after the sack of Godwin Uwua at the end of 2012/13 Nigeria National League .
Abdullahi Biffo , who is presently the coach of Abia Warriors led Niger Tornadoes back to the premier league in 2015 after amassing 23 points from a possible 33 with a game to play at the end of 2014/15 Nigeria National League season .
Niger Tornadoes is the only newly promoted side yet to lose at home in their temporarly home ground at the Confluence Stadium in Lokoja .
