The Rivers United left back,  Chiwendu has admitted the tough contest Plateau United will pose as the Jos base club have surprised their teeming fans securing four wins in four matches. In the reverse fixture at the Rwang Pam stadium Jos, Plateau United were 2-1 winners.

With few matches left to go till the end of the season,  the intense battle at the top of the NPFL log has created some anxious moment as teams try to hold on to the top and keep a healthy distance from their rivals.

"We aren't taking chances as regards our opponent's form on Sunday, our focus is completely on the maximum point. Plateau United have done well for themselves and we respect that but at this moment we just have to concentrate and never look down on Plateau United.

"We shall create those chances and most importantly we have to score goals that will earn us the three points," Chiwendu told Footyalert

Rivers United occupy the third position on the NPFL table with 50 points,  eight steps above Plateau United who are 11th with 42 points.
