Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Football Club of Lagos petit midfielder, Chukwuka Onuwa has said his side will use this weekend match to bounce back to winning ways.
MFM FC will host Abia Warriors Football Club of Aba this Sunday in match day 33 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) scheduled to hold at the Agege Township Stadium.
The NPFL newcomers are yet to win a game in their last four league matches but the creative midfielder believes his team will emerge victorious against the Aba-based outfit and put an end to the winless form as they continue their quest for survival in the top league.
“We have been preparing for this weekend game against Abia Warriors FC and we want to use the match bounce back to winning ways and give our fans reasons to keep supporting us.
“The three points at stake in the encounter is key to our survival in the NPFL and we need to play out our hearts because anything short of victory may confirm our team for relegation. So I’m optimistic of absolute victory,” said the former Heartland FC player tomountaintopfc.com.
MFM FC currently occupy the 18th position on the Nigeria top-flight table with 37 points from 29 league matches.
