More Tributes Pour In For Nigerian League Legend, Victor Ezeji

As the January 7th date for the Victor Ezeji Testimonial draws nearer, tributes are pouring in for the Nigerian league legend, Victor Ezeji.

This time, former Enyimba FC hotshot Emeka Nwanna fondly called Ayaya has joined the plethora of acquaintances and former colleagues of Victor to hail the Abia State-born Ezeji.

Nwanna who won the CAF Champions League along with Ezeji in 2003 described his former teammate as a motivator who loves to encourage those around him.

In a chat to Victor Ezeji Testimonial, VET Media, Nwanna also lauded the Testimonial initiative of Victor, describing it as "a good thing one has to do once you finish your career".

"Ezeji is a good person. He is a motivator who normally encourages people around him.

"In Nigeria, people don't normally do what he (Victor) is about to do. It is a good thing that one has to do once you finish your career and I hope current players will now emulate him." said Ayaya.

Using Victor Ezeji as a case study, Nwanna lent current league players some pieces of advice as tips to a successful career.

"They must keep working hard and pray to God for an injury-free career but most importantly, they must be fully dedicated to the profession."

The burly striker also confirmed his participation in Saturday's testimonial where he is expected to feature for Team NPFL as they battle Team EZEJI at the Sharks FC Stadium, Port Harcourt.
