Captain of Niger Tornadoes FC, Mustapha Aliko has said that victory is all they need to give to their head coach as a gift so as to make his honeymoon a memorable one.
Aliko said that their technical adviser, Abubakar Bala over the weekend got himself a new bride and them as players need to make him happy with a convincing win.
“Our coach is still in the euphoria of having taken a new bride; we need to ensure that he enjoys the honeymoon. So we are going out for a win and nothing short of it”, Aliko told Footyalert
Coach Bala had on Saturday last week married Aisha Yahaya Maibasira.
He said that they were not going to take Kano Pillars lightly because they know that they are a formidable side, promising that they will maintain their cool.
The first choice goalkeeper of the Ikon Allah side of Minna went ahead and revealed that they want to end the first stanza of the league on a high note; as such they have vowed to nail the Sai Masugida in Lokoja today.
According to him, they have kept aside their 1-2 lost on match day 18 in Ibadan against 3Sc and have shifted their attention to tomorrow’s match aimed at securing the three maximum points.
However, Tornadoes has suffered a setback as it will be without the services of their midfield playmaker Lukas Yahaya following the injury he sustained in Ibadan.
