Enugu Rangers gaffer, Gabreil Ezema has expressed confidence after the Flying Antelopes Juniors' 1-0 win against Rivers United Juniors in the 2017 Nigeria Professional Football League U15 Promises.
Farouk Zakary's goal late in the first half earned the Enugu outfit the maximum point after they had shared the spoils with ABS in their first match at the Agege stadium on Tuesday.
"It's a victory that we have been looking forward to, for a team that's used to winning we got worried after the third consecutive draw so I think this victory is a morale booster for us," Ezema told Footyalert
"We needed to raise the team's character and improve on concentration, we conceded in the final moment in our last match, same thing happened in our last two games. I needed them to be aware of the final moment and in fact the entire second half to stay focused."
"We needed to play and hold on to that victory which is very important for us."
Rangers will face El-Kanemi Warriors on Thursday in the last match in group A.
Victory isn't negotiable for us, we just have to win to make it out of our group and hopefully make it to the final.
At this point we have to up our game, this team is a high scoring team, this is the first time we are winning a match by a goal so we have to come out in our last match to score a lot of goals and see where that takes us to
