The 2016/2017 Nigeria Women Premier League (NWPL) enters match day three on Wednesday with interesting fixtures. Defending champions Rivers Angels will host youthful FC Robo Queens at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium.
Bayelsa Queens with a game in hand and after loosing one match will hope to pick up their first win when they entertain Group A table toppers Abia Angels.
Heartland Queens who lost their first game of the season in match day two against Abia will welcome Sunshine Queens to Nekede. Meanwhile, Osun Babes after their 2-0 win over Pelican Stars face a tough task of picking up all three points when they play rejuvenated Confluence Queens, while Nasarawa Amazons and Edo Queens face off at the Lafia City Stadium. Adamawa Queens whose base is Yola will face Pelican Stars at the Fufore Township Stadium.
And Delta Queens who are yet to record a win this season after two draws will do battle with Saadatu Amazon at the Kwale Township Stadium. All matches will get underway at 4pm.
