    Bahamas 2017: Victor Tale Confident Of Nigeria' Chances

    Super Sand Eagles of Nigeria defender, Victor Tale has expressed optimism of his country's better outing at the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup slated for Bahamas later this year.

    The Nigeria's Beach soccer national team have been paired alongside Italy, Mexico and Iran in Group B after qualifying to represent Africa as the runners up in the qualifying series.

    The team led by Coach Adamu Ejor have just opened camping for the World Cup proper with days to the tournament.

    Despite not having an early preparation and intensive training tour Tale remained confident the Beach Eagles would spring surprises with interesting performances in Nassau.

    "We've been in good spirit since we arrived camp, Lagos is good for us, we are training regularly and I think we will be ready,” Tale told Footyalert

    “Honestly, we should have been here since, but that's the situation we found ourselves for now, we just have to double up our efforts be ready, I still think with experience and determination, we will do well in Bahamas.”

    Asked about his recent move to NNL side, Kogi United, Tale said it was an honor to have a chance to fulfilling one of his dreams by playing for his hometown club, which he promised to give his all to guide the team to the apex league in the country.
    "I'm humbled to finally get a chance to play Kogi United, it's a tall dream, I'm happy that is coming through now, I want help go further, wins games and pick the ticket to promote at the end, with luck and determination I'm sure we will.”.

    Nigeria will open their World Cup account against Italy on April 27th at the Nassau Beach Stadium. The 2017 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup will be the 9th edition of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, the premier international beach soccerchampionship contested by the men's national teams of the member associations of FIFA.
