Victor Agali Proud Of AS Racine’s Display Against Warrior Wolves

AS Racine gaffer, Victor Agali has revealed he is proud of his young team’s display in their 2-1 win over Warri Wolves on match day 5 Nigeria National League.

The former Super Eagles goal poacher admitted he watched with satisfaction as the Lagos outfit fought from a goal down to secure a 2-1 win against the Seasiders at the Agege stadium on Wednesday.

“I am proud of my boys; I have always encouraged them, push and make them believe in themselves. And today, they have shown true character.,” Agali told Footyalert

“The day you sign to play football is day you start to make mistakes so coaches must tolerate these young lads’ mistakes. My coaches tolerated my mistakes during my playing days and it’s a must and a duty for me to do same to these future stars.”

“These boys are young, as they learn they will make mistakes. Some of them are nineteen, eighteen and there’s even one who is one who is preparing to sit to his West Africa Examination Council exams. So you see that these young chap have a big heart. It’s a gradual process and we shall continue to help them grow.”

“This is the time they are allowed to make those mistakes that anxiety is still there in them. The quality of their play is one major positive side. If they continue to improve the way they currently do then very soon they will start to take their chances.”
