    GLO Nigeria PL Week 21: Afonja Warriors and Saraki Boys Share Points.

    It was a no victor, no vanquish story at the Kwara  township stadium for the second time this season between the state sponsored side, Kwara United and ABS FC, owned by Senator Abubakar Bukola Saraki in a week 21 GLO NPL match  tagged " Emirate Derby"

    Both teams seized each  other up in the early stage but a tricky cross by Stanley Dimgba in the 22nd minute was cleared
    to safety by ABS defender Chinedu Ajaanah.


    Ichull Lawson was the man dictating the play for the Saraki Boys in the middle of the park as they troubled Afonja Warriors on series of breaks. Kwara United miss their anchor man Dare ojo who saw red the previous week at Ibadan against 3SC, with no real threat till the end of first half.

    On resumption,it took less than three minutes for the fans to witness real action. First, Stanley Dimgba inviting free kick  met by a powerful header from Ganiyu Ogungbe  went wide while at the other end Audu Akeem's effort from distance scheme the outside of the post as both side gained momentum.

    Super Sand Eagles and former Bridge FC of Lagos striker Abu Azzez who was struggling in the game was substituted in the 67minute as hit man and League Bloggers Award winner (LBA) winner,  Yahaya Adamu came in and instantly made a telling impact, terrorizing the opposition defenders.

    ABS nearly took the lead moments later with Chinedu Ajanah rising high to direct an header  inches wide and on the defensive side, former United man now with ABS, Seun Sogbeso made a timely intervention to stop Yahaya Adamu after he had controlled the ball nicely and substitute Kabir Sanusi blast to the stand from a tight angle as the home side looked the more hungrier  for the maximum point.

    With the tie heading towards the final quarter, United winger Samuel Adegbenro breeze past ABS defender Onigbari but his delivery was not measurable. A couple of pin point crosses by left back Halilu Obadeki didn't get a good delivery  by the Samson Unuanel side as the game ended goaless
