Kwara united picked four points in the battle of the warriors leaving Shooting Stars SC with just a point. The first leg in Ilorin ended 2 nil in favour of the Afonja Warriors while Oluyole warriors promised a total revenge at the Lekan Salami Sports complex, Ibadan.

The battle in Ibadan ended with both teams sharing points in a 1:1 draw as both teams showed  attacking style of play. Kwara Utd shot
stopper Suraj Aiyeleso put up his A game as he made some  outstanding saves through out the game.

Dare Ojo's superb free kick in 45th minute  put the visitors in front as the Ibadan fans were compelled to sit at the edge of their chairs.

Both  warriors, Oluyole and Afonja had to continue the 2nd half even as the rain continue to fall heavily. The home team leveled up in the 66 minutes through substitute Taofeek Adepoju when Gbolahan Salami set him with a through pass.

The fans who were a bit nervous before the goal came in celebrated the goal and hope to get the winner. In the 78 minutes, Kwara United goal scorer Dare Ojo was sent off for a second bookable offence when he brought down a 3SC player in the attacking half.

Oluyole warriors didn't maximize the numerical advantage to go top as a last minute save by 3SC goalkeeper Abiodun Akande denied the visiting team an away victory.

The match ended with a show of unruly behavior as some of the home fans threw stones at the visiting team.
