The two teams that played in Katsina in a week 27 fixture of the Nigeria National League (NNL) TEAP FC and Niger Tornadoes were banished from their home ground (Abuja & Minna) due to unruly behavior.
Niger Tornadoes now play their home games in Kano while TEAP do same in Katsina. Both teams created chance in the first half but the Abuja base team
created more chance but couldn't convert any.
A significant moment in the match that compelled everyone to pray was when Fred Evans was elbowed which resulted in a deep cut with heavy bleeding. The medical team who were on standby had to rush the young man to the hospital though after 35minutes he was brought back to the stadium looking much better with bandage wrapped over is head.
Before Fred came back to the stadium, Stephen Chukwu of TEAP FC scored a thunderous goal from around 35yards in the 63rd minutes sending a wild jubilation amongst the fans who have shown support to the young side.
With this loss, Niger Tornadoes are just a step above relegation battle sitting above Kogi Utd, Adamawa Utd and FC Abuja who all lost in week 27.
