    The chairman of J. Atete FC, Julius Atete has expressed disappointment at the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF)  decision to award three points and three goals to ABS FC.

    The NFF's disciplinary committee after series of findings in the match between J.Atete FC and ABS FC noted that the home team J.Atete and the Delta State Football Association failed to provide adequate security for the match contrary to Art 3.1(5).

    It also noted that the appointed match officials were assaulted by supporters of J. Atete FC and there was encroachment by the Supporters of J. Atete FC which led to the discontinuation of the match in the 79th Minute of play contrary to Art. 4.3(1) and reached the decisions below;

    I. J. Atete FC shall play its next three (3) home matches behind closed doors.

    II. Three (3) points and three (3) goals are hereby awarded to ABS FC.

    III. That a fine of One Million Naira (N1,000,000) is hereby placed on J. Atete FC in line with Art. 4. 3(1).

    However,  Julius Atete has frowned at the decisions taken by the NFF's disciplinary committee.

    "I am not happy with the decision because the Nigeria National League affirmed at the start of the season that there won't be board room points regardless of the situation. I felt it wasn't proper for the NNL to appoint a referee who came from the region where an away team is based to officiate a match in Delta State.

    "I think sincerity is lost in the decision to award board room points. It's unfortunate this kind of activities still enjoy prominent stay in the league.  I spend my hard earned money to promote football in this country. I could as we decide to walk out of football and continue with my business," Atete told Footyalert

    "I will go back home, consult with my team to know which way forward.

    The NFF disciplinary committee aren't encouraging private investors to invest in Nigerian football. Fair judgement is very important, can you explain the purpose of a boardroom point when the league body had stated it clear that no board room points will be given.

    I have around 80 players on my pay roll,  that means this people are being engaged. J. Atete FC has been known to be a very discipline team and we shall maintain our values," Atete concludes
