Prime Football Club have announced that players and officials of the team have embarked upon break on Tuesday November 18, 2016.
A statement from the Omoluabi Giants said the team, will resume for next season preparation on Monday November 28, 2016.
Addressing the players and officials, the Chairman Prime FC, Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi, advised the players of the need to work hard next season to achieve the management set goals.
Ogunjobi said any player who has not measured up will be dropped for those who can add value to the team, and those who can bolster the squad.
Ogunjobi expressed dismay that the team was unable to secure promotion to the elite league in the just concluded season, and warned the players that the management would not condone it next season.
The Osun Pillar of Sports commended Governor Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola, for his financial and moral support to the team.
However, the management of club, have sent the longest serving captain of the team Waheed Olapade, on coaching course at the National Institute of Sports (NIS).
The club management after its Tuesday board meeting resolved to send the versatile right full back on course so as to enrich and develop him in recognition for his commitment for the team.
The club agreed to take full responsibilities for Omo Oba tuition fee and other expenses he incurred.
