    Wikki Tourist striker,  Godwin Obaje is on the verge of leaving the Bauchi Elephant as talks are in advance stage to secure the signature of the Nigerian league 2015/16 season highest goal scorer.

    Obaje's goals helped Wikki Tourist pick a Caf Confederation Cup ticket as he emerged highest goal scorer with eighteen goals in the 2015/16  Nigeria Professional Football (NPFL)

    According to the chairman of Wikki Tourist,  Isah Matori,  Wikki Tourist are in talks with three clubs, two of which are based in Europe and a club based in Africa.


    "Our top scorer,  Godwin Obaje is leaving for greener pasture,  we are in discussion with some clubs outside of Nigeria. I will not want to reveal the identity of these clubs but it's confirmed that we are in talks with three clubs who want to sign Godwin Obaje. Two European clubs and a club in Africa," Matori told Footyalert

    Mean while  Isah Matori has revealed that a proper replacement will be signed as Wikki Tourist prepare for  continental football.

    "We shall miss him but definitely it's obvious that we shall get a proper replacement. We never knew we would get him but you will agree with me that when you give a player the right environment such player will excel," Matori noted.
