Enyimba International FC of Aba and Niger Tornadoes FC of Minna, have arrived Ijebu-Ode for the fourth edition of Gold Cup Pre-Season Tournament.
The Aba Elephants and its Minna counterpart are making their debut in the country's most prestigious pre-season tourney which kicks-off on November 25.
According to the tourney's Coordinator, Tunde Shamsudeen: "All is going as planned as Tornadoes and Enyimba have arrive Ijebu-Ode to begin light preparations for the 10-day soccer fiesta.”
The Aba Millionaires who recently named ex-Shooting Stars of Ibadan coach, Gbenga Ogunbote, will be leading his new look Elephants against Lobi Stars, Wikki Tourists, Crown FC and newly promoted Remo Stars in Group B.
An Abubakar Bala's Niger Tornadoes will be having their hands full against defending champions, Kano Pillars, FC Ebedei, MFM FC and Sunshine Stars make up Group B.
The 10-day soccer fiesta which is expected to climax on December 4, will see the winner going home with a befitting giant trophy, cash prize (winner and runners up)and medals for the winners courtesy of Senator Dr. Abdulfatai Buhari.
A trophy has also been donated by NFF Executive Board Member, Ahmed Yusuf Fresh for the second places team while the tourney's Top Scorer and MVP will be handed plaques courtsey Publisher of Naija League Magazine, Aikoje Ojeikere.
However, the two finalist will be entitle to brand new jerseys courtesy of OWU Sportswear Venture.
