Sule said the sports loving governor has again displayed his commitment and love for sports, especially football with the prompt payment of players and officials season dues.

The former Stationery Stores striker thanked Governor Bello for his support just as promised that the state clubs would reciprocate the gesture with an improved performance in the coming football season.

"His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has paid all the sign-on-fees for both Kogi United and Confluence Queens for the outgone season," begin the former Super Eagles defender.

"We are not owning any player a dime, we've cleared all our players' transfer fees and His Excellency has also encouraged us with necessary motivation to do well in our campaigns," he said.

Sule, who also double as the Chairman of Club Owners for the Nigeria National League, NNL clubs explained that in order to further empower the youth in the state, his management has decided to raise a Feeder team for the Confluence Queens which will serve as the nursery for players to break into the main team.

"When we raised the Feeder club for Kogi United last year, we knew it would assist us to empower the youth in the state, draw them from the steeets and make them professionals, that has yield rapid result as we now have about ten of them that have break into the main team of Kogi United FC and they (Kogi United Feeder) have become a force to reckon with in Kogi State grassroots competitions as we have also had few of them going out to join other top clubs, with support we are getting from present administration, we can have the 21 LGAs represented in the feeder team and eventually in the main team.

"This is what brought about the proposal to do the same for Confluence Queens FC, we have many other girls that train at the stadium daily and those outside the state capital can be drafted in to make up the feeder team, and we do hope this will increase the number of our sons and daughters to be engaged and empowered positively through sports, especially football, thanks to Governor Bello for creating this enabling atmosphere and we will continue to make him proud through football," Sule concluded.
