Biffo praises the team spirit in his Abia Warriors side following another hard fought win in over ABS FC in the Nigeria Professional Football League.

The Umuahia outfit gaffer noted that the most important thing is that his team won and secured the maximum points. The Ucendu Babes were held by the Saraki Boys till late in the match before former Shooting Stars’ goal poacher, Sunday Adetunji got a brace to seal a win for the home side.

“The most important thing from any match we play is to win and secure the three points which we did against ABS,” Biffo told Footyalert

“But I give it up to our opponent, they made it very difficult for us in the first half but we stepped up in the second half, took advantage of the weaknesses we observed and got two goals to secure a win for us, I must commend my boys for the good job.”

“ I brought in Bashir Sheriff because I saw the opponent's weak link and good enough he got an assist and also was brought down in the box which Sunday Adetunji converted.”

The former Niger Tornadoes coach has charged National team coaches to see more games in the NPFL and not only depend on information.

“Sunday Adetunji is a player that needs to be celebrated, he has scored nine goals in 11 matches, I am not saying this because he is in my team but sincerely he's got a bright future ahead of him.”

“I hope the national team selectors will go round to see more games in the NPFL and not just rely on information they get about players in the league. Sunday deserves an invite to the Super Eagles.”
