ABS FC coach, Henry Makinwa believes the Nigeria Professional Football League is a better organised league compared to the second tier league in Nigeria, the Nigeria National League.

Makinwa, currently in his second season in the Nigerian league secured a promotion ticket for the Saraki Boys in his debut season and the Ilorin base team are placed sixth after 16 matches in the elite league.

“I think fame, money, good organisation from the League Management Company, quality of matches and TV is the huge difference between the Nigeria Professional Football League and the Nigeria National League,” Makinwa told Footyalert

“ But I think the NNL has shown some improvement too this season, I saw a match on Saturday, Abia Comets 0-0 Bayelsa United, and I think it wasn't normal to see such quality match in the NNL. The
two teams fought well, not a bad pitch and the officiating was good.”

“It was very difficult to get that in the NNL last season. I think Nigerian football is moving a positive direction though not without some obvious complains but I know that we can still do better.”
