Nigerian star, Otto John is confident that his goals will help his club, Trepca '89 lift the Kosovo’s Vala Superliga trophy.

Currently on 20 goals after 24 matches, the highest ever in the Vala Superliga, Oto who joined Trepca '89 on loan in 2016 from Albanian club, KF Skënderbeu has stated that he is confident that he’ll score more goals this term as he is focused on helping the Mitrovica base club become champions this season.

“I have been scoring goals and still hoping to score more, though I didn’t set a target for myself but my focus has always been to play well and help my team become champions,” Otto told Footyalert

“I started the season as a midfielder but after three matches the coach decided to play me as a striker and I think that decision worked out well for me because I’ve scored 20 goals so far this season and will still score more with nine games till the end of the season.”

While the big forward shared his most memorable moments in Kosovo he admitted that he isn’t bothered by any kind of transfer distraction as he has maintained that he’d continue to stay focused.
“I have a lot of memorable moments here so it's difficult to pick one but I think seeing myself as the top scorer is a big moment for me and that has motivated me to set more records.”
