FC 'Zorya' sensational midfielder, Nigeria born Emmanuel Dennis Bonaventure is gradually creating an enviable profile for himself in the country where former European Golden Ball winner Andrey Shevchenko was born.

The 19 year old former Nigeria U-15 national team players who left the country for Ukraine at age 16 has already raked in 12 appearances for FC 'Zorya' this season with three of those coming in the UEFA EUROPA League. Although FC 'Zorya' failed to make it past the group stages of the EUROPA League, Bonaventure got rave reviews from pundits for his performances against Manchester United (England), Feyenoord (Netherlands) and Fenerbahce (Turkey).

After a 5-star performance against Shahkter Donetsk last Sunday, he was named in the Ukrainian premier league team of the week despite his team’s 1-2 defeat.

It was no surprise when his manager Dr. Leonard Maduabum revealed that Bonaventure has attracted offers from top German Bundesliga clubs.
