  • Teams Shop For Players At Union Bank FC.

    Former Nigeria National League campaigner, Union Bank FC of Lagos who just gained promotion back to the NNL after going down to the Nigeria Nationwide League (third level league) two seasons back have suddenly turned to a market place where other clubs come to shop for players.

    Clubs like Rangers international, Prime FC and First Bank of Lagos have taken advantage of the current situation at Union Bank FC to pick some players.

    The management of Union Bank who are sponsoring the football club and other sports as well have decided to
    pull out of the league due to cost.

    Prime FC of Osogbo have picked two players " Taofeek Yakubu and Suleiman Akinyele" while  Lukman Ibiyo has since joined Rangers Int'l of Enugu while Four other players "Evans Nwosu , Olufemi Ajayi,Sikiru Alimi and Chidi Chukwuka have all joined First Bank FC who bought Grays Int'l FC slot to feature in the NNL.
