The Nigeria Football Federation are proposing a World Cup warm-up match for the Super Eagles against Portugal.

Nigeria who are due to play Mexico in a friendly match next month as a build up for Brazil 2014 will also face Cristiano Ronaldo and his team if Portugal accept a proposed friendly.

According to NFF technical committee chairman, Chris Green in a chat with Brila Fm, a friendly match against Portugal could well be on the cards.

    "We are considering to play

a friendly with Portugal, they play like Argentina and Bosnia-Hezegovina. But for the friendly to come to life, Portugal have to accept and be interested," Green said on Brila FM.

He continued, " the reason Portugal was considered for the African champions is because they play like the Eagles world cup group F opponents, Bosnia and Argentina.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria who are drawn gainst Argentina, Iran and Bosnia-Herzegovina will have to play the Portuguese National team in Portugal if the proposed game is accepted.
