2013 Federations Cup finalist, Warri Wolves will have to give their fans some thing to cheer this season if words from ex-international, Edema Fuludu is considered.
Former Super Eagles midfielder and 1994 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) winner, Edema Fuludu has stated in a chat with Footyalert that the 'Seasiders' must excel this season. The ex-international who has helped a lot of young stars through football is responsible for the rebranded state football league in Delta state.
" Two things are
involved here, I'm from Warri so I expect much more from Wolves, secondly with the experience of Davidson Owunmi as the CEO of Warri Wolves and the come back of Paul Aigbogun as the coach one can't expect any thing less,"said Fuludu
He continued, Owunmi is an experienced administrator who was a former chairman of the Nigeria Premier League (NPL) and he has also managed Enugu Rangers too. We got close to bringing the Federations Cup to Warri last season only to lose to Enyimba but this season will be the different said the AFCON 1994 champion.
The former Super Eagles midfilder, Fuludu is expected to be involved in a nationwide talent hunt in 2014 where he is expected to discover more future stars.
The Seasiders will start their 2014 campaign in the CAF Confederations Cup away to Union Doula of Cameroon next month.
