Manu Garba: Clubs Interested In Me But I'll Focus National Assignment.

Coach of victorious Golden Eaglets of Nigeria, Manu Garba has stated that he will prefer to focus on National assignment for now even with Nigeria Professional Football League clubs showing interest in him to handle their teams.

According to the coach who managed a set of young crop of boys who stormed the FIFA Under-17 World Cup in UAE last year in a chat with Footyalert, a couple of NPFL clubs have shown interest but I'll prefer to
focus on the National assignment for now.

"The schedule of the league and that of the National under-20 team might not allow me to shuttle between a club and the national team so I will prefer to focus on the National assignment for now" said Manu Garba

He further stated that he is waiting for the Nigeria Football Federation ( NFF) to formally invite him to take over the National Under-20 team.

" As I'm talking to you, Manu said, I'm  waiting for the NFF to give the green light to get started with the Flying Eagles"

Manu Garba led the Golden Eaglets of Nigeria to a second place finish at the African Youth Championship held in Morocco and the FIFA under-17 World Cup held in UAE where the Golden Eaglet were crowned world champions. It would recalled that Nigeria won the FIFA under-17 World Cup in 1985,1993 and 2007.
