  • Eko Football League: Teams Battle For NNWL Plays Offs

    The league is known as State League, a level where grass root teams play to qualify for Nigeria Nationwide League, a third level league in Nigeria but the Lagos State Football Association have chose to re-brand the league and tagged it " Eko Football League"

    Six teams who qualified from their district will play in a league format where the top two teams will qualify to play in the National play to feature in the
    NNWL (amateur division).

    The chairman technical committee, Dotun Coker in a chat with Footyalert at the stadium said he wasn't astonished to see some amazing skills display in the first set of matches played at the Agege stadium.

    In the first set of matches played on Monday, February 3rd, 2014 at the Agege stadium Lagos, -Messiah FC from Ikeja defeated Teslim Thunder Balogun from Ikorodu by 2:0 while Amazing Grace FC from Lagos Island thought Orimolade who qualified from Badagry the basics of football with an emphatic 8:0 victory, the much awaited match between LSDPC and TRAH FC who came in from Epe ended in a thrilling 4:3.

    Action resumes on Wednesday as teams show fans some amazing football skills, below is the next fixtures;


    5th of February
    Teslim Thunder Balogun FC Vs. Orimolade FC
    Kickoff-11;45am

    Amazing Grace FC Vs. LSDPC
    Kickoff-1:45pm

    TRAH FC Vs. Messiah FC
    Kickoff- 3:45pm
