The Outstanding match of the weekend was the rescheduled week 13 premier League match between Apapa Iganmu and Mosan Okunola. Mosan Okuola proved too hot to handle for the Apapa Iganmu side as they were down 3-0 before the half way point of the first half. It took just six minutes for the Mosan boys to inflict the fatal blows Williams Ukeme opened scoring in the 23rd minute, Lasisi Gafar doubled the lead a minute later and Omoyele Tosin slotted in the third
    two minutes later.

After the restart Apapa Iganmu tried to undo the horrendous six first half minutes, they pulled one back in the 52nd minute through Emmanuel Omowaye. They were fortunate in the 65th minute when sloppy defending afforded Folunsho Sesan a chance which he duly converted to bring his side back into the fray. Apapa Iganmu’s search for an equalizer proved abortive as they were made to pay for their six minutes nap.

In League 1, Ojodu Fc still lead the pack after their demolition of Eredo on Sunday afternoon. This week will see the resumption of the LJL Premier League matches after a two weeks break.
