Former Enyimba and Current coach of El-Kanemi Warriors,Yusuf Salisu is inline to become the next Super Eagles (Home Base) coach. Footyalert scooped from a source who pleaded anonymity that Salisu will be named the next gaffer to lead the home based Eagles.
Though an option to take the under-20 job was
thrown at him but instead he chose the CHAN team because according to him, he knows the home lads so well.
"No, Salisu prefers the home base Eagles job,the source said. The coach prefers that to the Flying Eagles and it's confirmed that he will be given the mandate to lead the team.
Salisu, who currently manage the Desert Warriors is expected to lead his team, El-Kanemi Warriors on a tour to Cotonou to play series of friendly games as part of their pre-season plans .
