The People's Elephant of Aba have sent signals to other clubs both in the domestic league and on the continent if their latest triumph at the NPFL Pre-season tournament is anything to go by.
The tournament organized by the League Management Company (LMC) featured the four teams playing on the continent this season, teams like
kano Pillars, Enyimba (CAF champions league) , Warri Wolves and Bayelsa United (CAF confederations cup).
The two time African champions, Enyimba started the pre-season tourney spanking the Restoration Boys from Bayelsa, Bayelsa United by 3goals to nil, whip Warri Wolves by 2goals to nil and took a 1:0 revenge against the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) defending champions, Kano Pillars in their last match. Enyimba will pocket N1.5m for lifting the trophy.
