Lagos Junior League Mid Week Result.

League 1 entered its 10th week of matches on Wednesday evening as team got back to business after a two weeks hiatus. Agbado Oke Odo slumped to a 1-0 home defeat in the hands of Ikosi Isheri. Ayobo Ipaja overcame Ifelodun FC 3-0. First placed Ibeju Lekki cemented their hold on the top with a comprehensive 5-0 thrashing of Eti Osa confining them to their 6th defeat of the season. Goals from Akinsanya Adam and Wisdom Nwamodu ensured that Orile Agege and Shomolu shared points, Orile Agege went ahead in the 39th minute and it took 45 minute for Shomolu to
find the elusive equalizer. Ojodu Fc crushed Bariga 4-2 after 90 minutes of adrenalin pumping excitement at the Onikan Stadium.

League 1 matches continue this weekend when Otto Awori host Egbe Idinmu, Lekki take on Ikoyi Obalende, Iba face-off against Yaba and Ikorodu try their luck against Agboyi Ketu.

In the premier League Apapa demolished a hapless Lagos Mainland 5-0 in their rescheduled week 8 encounter at the LASU pitch on Wednesday. Week 12 fixtures will see League leaders Surulere Sport City FC take on Lagos Island East, Title contenders Ifako Ijaiye and Ojo Babes will clash at the LASU pitch on saturday in what will be the match of the week.
